Indoor Environment Program

The aim of the Indoor Environment research program is to find solutions that promote productivity, pleasantness and health of space users in an ecologically sustainable manner. The focus areas are user-centric spaces and their energy-efficient management, revenue models for good indoor environments, and design and implementation of inspiring learning environments. The companies partaking in the program explore with an open mind new markets in indoor environments of the future which people enter to get invigorated and increase their wellbeing.

The program planned for implementation in 2011-2014 has a budget of more than e20 million. Researh consortium consists of 31 companies and 10 research institutes. A majority of companies are not RYM Oy shareholders. The large group of participants reflects the significant business potential of the area of research.
